From Oakridge–41st Avenue Station, use the South Atrium for groceries or the Cambie Street door for the pharmacy level
Exit Oakridge–41st Avenue Station beside Oakridge Park. Use the South Atrium for groceries or the Cambie Street door for the pharmacy level.

Take the Canada Line to Oakridge–41st Avenue Station. The station is at the southwest corner of Cambie Street and West 41st Avenue, on the Oakridge Park side of the intersection. TransLink lists it on both Canada Line branches, between King Edward and Langara–49th Avenue stations.
For groceries and prepared food, follow Oakridge Park’s onsite signs to the South Atrium. Safeway’s main mall entrance is underground beside Aritzia. For the pharmacy, use the secondary Safeway entrance on Cambie Street near West 41st Avenue; it opens into the pharmacy level.
Choose the entrance by what you need
| What you need | Entrance to use | Where it takes you |
|---|---|---|
| Groceries, bakery or prepared food | South Atrium, beside Aritzia | Main grocery floor downstairs |
| Pharmacy or health-and-wellness products | Cambie Street near West 41st | Upper mezzanine/pharmacy level |
| Groceries before or after mall hours | Cambie Street entrance | Pharmacy level; continue downstairs inside Safeway |
Opening-day coverage confirms that the main entrance is in the South Atrium next to Aritzia, while the Cambie Street door provides direct access through the pharmacy space. It also reports that the store occupies two underground levels, so there is no conventional street-level grocery floor to look for. See the entrance and layout details.
Step by step from the Canada Line
- Leave the train at Oakridge–41st Avenue Station.
- Follow station signs to street level. You will emerge beside Oakridge Park at Cambie and West 41st.
- During mall hours, follow Oakridge Park’s current wayfinding to the South Atrium for the main grocery entrance.
- If you need the pharmacy—or are arriving outside general mall hours—use the direct Cambie Street Safeway entrance near West 41st.
Do not assume there is already a completed underground passage from the station into the mall. Opening-day reporting said the expanded station entrance, including an additional underground entrance, was expected to reach full completion in early 2027. As of September 30, 2026, use the signed route available at street level; construction wayfinding may change.
For step-free access, TransLink says all rail stations are wheelchair accessible and publishes an Oakridge–41st Avenue accessible-entrance map. Follow station signs to the elevators.
Food downstairs, pharmacy upstairs
The new Safeway opened on August 27, 2026, replacing the former Oakridge store that closed in January 2020. The approximately 50,000-square-foot store is split across two levels: groceries, bakery and hot food are downstairs, while the smaller upper floor contains the pharmacy. Prepared-food options reported at opening included sushi, Asian hot dishes, dim sum, pizza and sandwiches. See the reported two-floor layout.
Oakridge Park currently lists Safeway hours as 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. General mall hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays and statutory holidays. Check the official Oakridge Park Safeway page before an early or late visit, and use the Cambie Street door rather than relying on an interior mall route outside mall hours.
